24 Degrees Motorsports Media is proud to partner with sim racers as they compete for wins and championships across various series and classes on iRacing. Our current driver is Jared Caylor in the Collegiate iRacing League Garage Shop Cup Series. The series competes on Monday nights with races streaming on the Collegiate iRacing League (CiL) YouTube channel.

It’s playoff time for the CiL Cup Series. Jared looks to ride this season’s wave of momentum to a 6th championship. On the back of several top 5 results throughout the season, Jared finally picked up a breakthrough win in the regular season finale at Atlanta Motor Speedway!

Jared Caylor is a five-time champion of the CiL Cup Series but has recently taken a break from the league to focus on his college degree at UNC Charlotte. He returns to the series this year ready to take another shot at claiming championship glory.

Following his win at Atlanta, Jared entered this Monday’s CiL Cup Playoff opener at Watkins Glen tied at the cutoff line. An early spin in the bus stop and subsequent penalty at his first pit stop set him back early but due to late race attrition and misfortune by other playoff contenders he rebounded to a 4th place finish, beating out fellow UNCC racer, Clint Halterman, who finished 5th. Jared officially leaves the Glen with a 29 point cushion over the cutoff line.

Las Vegas was the site of this season’s CiL finale. Jared Taylor looked poised to take his 6th Cup championship but in the end it just wasn’t in the cards. A pair of early incidents unraveled his hopes, but he was not ready to give up and used some off-cycle pit strategy to get back to the front. However that would not be enough as Caylor settled for a 14th place finish, placing him 4th in the final championship standings.
